অভ্র ভার্সন ৪.০ আসছে খুব শীঘ্রই

আমার অন্যতম পছন্দের সেরা বাংলা সফটওয়্যার অভ্র এর চতুর্থ ভার্সন খুব শিঘ্রই অবমুক্ত হবে । গত ১৭ই মার্চ আমি অমিক্রণল্যাব থেকে পাওয়া ই-মেইলে জানতে পারলাম ।
কি কি নতুন থাকছে এই ভার্সনে দেখে নিই (cut ,copy & paste from the mail)।





নতুন ভার্সনে যা যা থাকছে :

1. Fully Windows Vista Compatible (32 bit). Of course it will also run in Windows2000, Xp, 2003…
2. Full support for "Old Style Typing": Users of old ASCII based Bangla softwares (like Bijoy, Proshika, Proborton etc.) will be most benefited from it. Who said we must change our typing habit if we use Unicode! :)
3. Keyboard Layout Editor: Create your own Keyboard Layouts, or modify an existing one. We swear, creating/modifying keyboard layouts was never been easier than this! Combining this feature with "Full Old Style Typing", you may even forget that you are using Avro Keyboard, instead of Bijoy, Proshika etc. commercial typing systems (Of course, we cannot distribute copyrighted keyboard layouts, you have to build your own) .
4. Full Skin Support: Bored with old look with Avro Keyboard? Its time to change skin, and yes, it is fresher than ever!

হিন্দী transliteration button

আজ আমার ব্লগার এর খেরোখাতা ব্লগে বেশ কিছু উন্নয়ন কাজ করলাম। যেমন : গুগল এর সার্চ ইন্জিন একেবারে ব্লগের নিচে যোগ করেছি। আবার আর একটা কাজ করতে গিয়ে দেখি যে blogger.com তাদের হিন্দী ভাষী ব্যাবহারকারীদের জন্য হিন্দী transliteration button যোগ করার অপশান দিয়েছে।





দেখে ভারী মন খারাপ হলো ।কেননা ব্লগারে (bogger.com) বাংলার জন্য তেমন কিছু নেই। wordpress এর জন্য তবুও মনুসফট একটা plugin দিয়েছিল। কিন্তু ব্লগারএর জন্য নাই। কেউ কি আছেন হাতবাড়ানোর!??
